Grenache, Carignan, Syrah and Mourvedre

Striking a seemingly perfect balance between plushness and precision, the vibrantly crimson colored 2016 perfumes with cherry cola and fresh flowers while buttressed with brambly garrigue notes  and characteristic flinty minerality.  Straightforward and compact, the wine opens with bright raspberry and rhubarb and then reveals more nuanced hints of confectioners chocolate, schist, and dried herbs.  Ever-present, is a satisfying vein of acidity that perfectly supports the wine's complexity.

Ruby red with a distinguished brick rim, the wine offers alluring notes of marion berries, blue fruits, compote, garriuge, and a touch of dried lavender. Rich, concentrated dark fruits are immediately noticeable upon entry which transition effortlessly to a piquant mid palate of plum tart, dried spices, and mountain herbs. Persistent acidity juxtaposes the generous core and finishes with a lengthy coda.
