With a cool hue of pale, golden straw, the wine reveals a tempting nose of white peaches, fresh lemongrass, jasmine, and citrus pith. Textured and layered on the palate, it pops with ripe Barlett pear,white guava, meringue, and a coating, mineral viscosity by virtue of the famous schistous soils. A tang of vibrant acidity rounds the finish and provides for an energetic lift.

Deep ruby appearance with bright aromas of ripe damson, wet stone, black chocolate and a touch of espresso. Dense, broad and intense with gentle tannins and a very long, mineral finish, with fruit characterized by black plum, blackberry and black fig with background elements of earthy minerality and cacao powder. Very much full–bodied but with plenty of energy.

The 2016 offers a color palate of black cherry skin and iridescent purple hues as a result of considerable skin contact from Syrah in the tank, buttressed with old vine Grenache. Its nose is redolent of an intensely sanguine perfume of vibrant Mediterranean garrigue, anise, clove, stewed blueberry, cardamom, cedar and Madagascar vanilla. The wine reels with earth laden red fruits and moves deftly into a core of sweet raspberry, plum and confectioners chocolate pocked by intense savory notes. Emerging with patience and time, it seems to shape-shift in the glass offering new dimensions and savory angles of lifted woodsy spice and minerality. Pleasingly moreish, punchy tannins and a grippy texture play off a taut acidic tone that make the wine considerably appealing today but with serious potential to age for a more transportational experience.

In the glass, it glows an elegant shade of rose gold with a nose redolent of white flowers, stewed raspberry, watermelon rind and a hint of garrigue in the background. Opening with a vibrant declaration of candied blood orange, white peach and rhubarb, the wine melds together with flinty minerality and a punchy combination of summer stone fruits and fresh strawberries. The core is especially plush and succulent finishing with a citrus driven acidity that begs for more.

Solid dark-ruby in color, the nose leaps from the glass with aromas of black fig, bitter chocolate, graphite and dried herbs. A big, dense entry leads through a seamless mid-palate showing classic old-vine grenache characteristics of damson plum, licorice and chocolate while maintaining a mineral spine. The finish is very long and satisfying with gentle, ripe tannins.

Deep ruby in color with a garnet rim, the 2017 Others reveals a nose of preserved strawberries with an earthy minerality. There are also hints of fennel and lavender that tempt the palate. Broad and luscious with a gentle tannic grip, lots of red fruit are on display which lead to a smooth and concentrated mid-palate. Finishing with purpose, we again find herbal and mineral flavors in a long, soft decrescendo. Drinking very well now the wine is intense and yet very approachable.
